Congratulations to the
members of Upsilon Sigma
Phi and Sigma Delta Phi of
Southern California. Your joint
picnic, coinciding with the
launch of the
AlaAla sa
L.A.website is a grand way to
get the ball rolling for our
2008 World Reunion. This
new website is a milestone
in your preparation for the one-year countdown to our August 14, 2008
"AlaAla Sa L.A. Reunion. " How much more timely can you get!. Through this
website, not only can you reach our members the world over, and give us
details of the activities we can look forward to but will also provide us a way
to register for the event.

Last year we have OtsoOtso Sa Toronto. In 2008, we have L.A. to look
forward to! As USPNA Chairman, let me take this opportunity to call on our
brothers and sisters all over the world to get their calendars ready for this
event. Let's register now - particularly batches from '48, '58, '68, and the
other jubiliarians. As the entertainment capital of the world, AlaAla Sa L.A.
will allow us to capture the sights and sounds Los Angeles has to offer.
This is a great summer destination for not only for renewing our ties,
reminisce our youthful campus adventures but also a great way for our
family to experience the Southern California beaches, theme parks, trendy
shops and cafes and see famous artworks in world class museums. I
know our SoCal hosts headed by Brod Lupe Campos '48, Bim Javier '65
and Maribel Catala '75, are leaving leave no stones unturned to make this a
memorable gathering. This will be something to remember and be part of
our "ala-ala" for years to come.

Remember to register and support SoCal's effort to bring us "Ala Ala Sa L.A.
2008! Salamat at Mabuhay kayong lahat!

Fraternally,

Edwin Olavides Paña ‘69
